Thought I'd go for a walk and see what flowers I could find around our street down here
It's a glorious Autumn day by the water.
Plenty of bees out and about.
Still lots of colour in the gardens along our street.
Plenty of Hibiscus....they do well down here.
.... I found some interesting plants to Photograph.
I put on my 24 -70 mm lens to give it a work out.
Still plenty of roses flowering.
It was about 3:30pm so some interesting light was coming through.
I just stopped and played around with different settings.
I'm becoming more observant now of soft and harsh light......looking for light and dark tones.
I met a few locals on my walk wondering what I was doing.....LOL!
Practise....practise....practise.....that's what makes one better at something.
As I came back into our driveway I noticed the filtered light shining through our Bird of Paradise plant...it was a photograph waiting to be taken.....so pretty.
Thought I'd change things up a bit and alter my White Balance settings.
Normal setting....then changing it up a bit to see what different settings could do.
See if you can spot the differences.
I rather like this next setting....can you pick the setting?
It was nice to get out and enjoy some sunshine doing what I love doing.
We are heading out for dinner tonight with friends before we head home tomorrow.
Here's a few more Monochrome pics of the Paperbark Trees around our street.
They always fascinate me.....
So much texture....so pretty.
Until next time...
